While still studying for his degree in Civil Engineering at Columbia University, studying for his degree in Civil Engineering, Azmi founded telecom company T-One, developed it, and then sold it to an American publicly traded company. In 1999, he assumed the role of CEO at Investcom. His leadership and expertise carried the company, from a $30 million to $1 billion turnover in just seven years, with a listing on the London and Dubai stockexchanges.

As the youngest CEO of a Middle Eastern publicly traded company, he uncovered and envisioned opportunities in various business sectors, thus building the foundations of M1 Group into the large, global investment holding it is today. Azmi is currently a Non-Executive Director at MTN South Africa,. He is also a member of the International College Board of Trustees in Lebanon.

Board Member, CEO M1 Fashion and M1 Travel

Maher Mikati holds a degree in Business Administration from the American University of Beirut, Lebanon, as well as an MBA from INSEAD, France. Previously an Executive Director at Investcom Holding, Maher managed and oversaw all new business ventures in the EMEA region. Later, as the Managing Director,
Investcom’s telecom operator in Cyprus, he actively led the complete national
mobile project.

Today, while also a member of the Investment Committee, Maher is CEO of M1 Travel, M1 Fashion and M1 Travel. He plays a key role in directing some of the world’s leading brands in their category, such as Façonnable apparel.

Niam’s career began with Investcom where she implemented strategies for innovative international mobile telecom services both in the Middle East and Africa, with international carrier services in Monaco and fixed telephony services in the UK.

After graduating in Business Economics, Niam moved on to complete executive programs at Stanford University and INSEAD. Niam has been an instrumental leader with the group for over two decades,

Board Member, CEO M1 Real Estate

With a double major in Finance and Operations from Boston University, Moustapha moved on to work in Kuwait, where he took an active role at Bechtel Corporation and Westinghouse Electric before joining Investcom as Director of International Carrier Services. 

He later founded M1 Real Estate, assuming the role of its CEO, and making it a $1 billion AUM company in only 5 years. For the past decade, Moustapha has held the position of Honorary Consul for Lebanon in the principality of Monaco, where he resides today, and has also been elected President of the Association of
Consuls of Monaco, which consists of 72 members.
